Valley Verde Landscaping – Phoenix Metro Area | Commission-Only | Flexible Schedule
Valley Verde Landscaping, with over 25 years of experience maintaining and enhancing premier commercial properties throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, is seeking a results-driven, independent Freelance Commercial Sales Representative to help expand our B2B client base. This is a 1099, commission-only role, ideal for motivated sales professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong local connections, and a proven ability to build and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage decision-makers at:
Homeowners Associations (HOAs)
Apartment and condominium communities
Office buildings, shopping centers, and industrial parks
Municipal and institutional properties
Professionally present the company’s services and capabilities.
Coordinate on-site property walk-throughs with the operations team.
Collect key site details to support proposal development.
Follow up diligently, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
Maintain ongoing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in landscaping, facility services, maintenance, construction, or similar industries.
Existing relationships with property managers, facility directors, or HOA boards highly preferred.
Independent, results-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Contractor license is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
Commission on annual maintenance contracts: 8% to 15%, depending on level of account involvement.
One time projects starts at 5% commission
Performance and referral bonuses available.
No cap on earnings.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and inspect large outdoor properties, including during hot weather.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs during property walk-throughs.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of marketing materials, samples, or equipment.
Must have reliable transportation to attend on-site meetings and property visits as needed.
